One of the things I love about Shiseido is the variety of lines and the amazing design of the items. Pity we don't have most of these wonders here in this region (they are Asia exclusive).
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, and moved to Ireland in April 2000. Happily married to Mark Lenahan and currently living in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. I have had lots of different "phases" or interests in my life and, right now, I am back to my "nipponic" phase, reading lots of Manga and books with a Japanese theme.
I wanted to put the picture below as the main picture in my profile, but Mark didn't think it was very good. Could not resist: it's me and Scruffy O'Bear (but that's another story...)
Very entertaining blog! Have been based in Japan for about 8 years now and It's quite interesting to see your take on things from the region. Please visit me at http://worldofovercast.blogspot.com/

Thanks for your kind comment! I visited your blog, looks great! Are those photographs your work? I saw the website too and it is amazing, great job! 8 years in Japan... I envy you.
ReplyDeleteI will visit you at your blog again,
a.
thanks so much! Yes these are all pictures I have taken at various times of my life. The typography blog is my good friends blog and It's definitly worth checking for updates!!
ReplyDeleteI do teach English here in Japan:)
It was quite exciting to be here at first but then it just kinda became where I live...
still it does have it's quirky moments and oddness that seems to remain charming.
I will have to go check out n. 58! I've been curious about Theoty but the price is a bit off-putting :) I was thinking of picking up a T'estimo lipstick in January (no more cosmetics purchases allowed this year).
ReplyDeleteHi Kuri! I am still using my samples of Theoty. The texture is gorgeous. They have a lovely Rose one as well, RS-720, which is a brownish rose.
ReplyDeleteThe Lunasol lippies must be great! Let me know if you get them, OK?

Hrm, I'll really have to try on Theoty, it sounds lovely. Sure, I'll let you know if I get one! I'm enjoying my new Unlimited Rouge; it seems very creamy and moisturizing.
ReplyDeleteHey Kuri!
ReplyDeleteYes, Rounge Unlimited are the best. I wish I would be able to use reds, but have not the nerve to put it on. I bought some MAC Mattene, and they are fabulous. Much cheaper on eBay, and last for hours on end!
